Kester Electric Supply Ltd., a family run business, founded by Ken Kester in 1979.  Ken Kester, previously employed by Revere Electric set out to establish an electrical distributorship of his own on Chauncey Avenue in Etobicoke with a staff of six people. He grew and expanded his product offerings and in short time and moved to the present location at 66 Chauncey Avenue, which tripled his space.

Years down the road after successfully building the company and doubling his staff, Ken handed over the business to his son John and his wife Ellen.  Ken stayed on three days a week doing what he loved to do which was human relations part of the business. Whether you were a customer or an employee, he always made you feel welcome and appreciated. 

John and Ellen continued to grow the business and expand product offerings and also took the company into the next generation.  John and Ellen Kester sold the company to six partners in 1998.

The company now has a staff of thirteen concentrating on the industrial sector and as a part of the Paul Wolf Electric team, has over 75,000 square feet of inventory at its disposal.
